Quebec City - Fortifications & Citadelle

Quebec City Fortifications are one of the olders militiary buildings in North America. There are numerous visual details and artifacts to see while walking along the historic streets and on the fortification walls.

Fortification walls are massive, in the days when the walls really defended the town, the defensive works were over 75 metres wide.
